When you become a member of our business software platform, we charge a fee and provide a service. This is the extent of how we use your information and manage our business relationship with our clients. We do not resell or reuse any information our clients provide us for any reason. Our applications are designed around a core principle of privacy and security so you can keep all your business, your business.
1. Protecting your privacy
We don’t run banner ads, pop ups, pop unders, or any other kind of commercial ads.
We don’t share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We don’t engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with other sites.
We don’t employ tracking devices for marketing purposes (“cookies”, “web beacons,” single-pixel gifs).
We don’t send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
Online Apps use basic web server authentication. Close your browser to log out.
Ladybug OS does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13.
Ladybug OS may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.
2. Data we collect
We sometimes collect your email address, for purposes such as sending self-publishing and confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, registering members, etc.
We sometimes collect your phone number for account authentication purposes, and may transmit it to a third party service for tele-robotic verification.
We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, or if you contact us directly.
Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Ladybug OS’s sites, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
We collect statistical information via Google Analytics to help provide you with more of the features and benefits you need. This information is not of a personal nature and is merely statistical data we use to identify problems, resource requirements and understanding how people generally use our applications.
3. Data we store
Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely. THis includes your registration details and order details. We do not store any credit card information on our servers, nor do we handle it at all. This is done by our payment processors directly. Credit card transactions are transmitted to a financial gateway, and we endeavor to protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
We store your phone number if you use this to verify your account with us, it is automatically added to your registration details where you can edit, delete, or change it at will.
Our applications will have record of your Twilio SID in order to interact with it. We do not however store your Twilio password. Our database does store certain phone records such as phone numbers into or out of your dialer application in order to create your Recent Calls list.
Our applications connect you with Google services and API’s if you choose to do so. We do not store any files you upload to our Google application folders. We do not store your Google password or any other secure information. Our application cannot access your entire Google Drive, only the folder which is created when / if you connect Google to our application and the information contained therein. Our application does not access or manipulate the data you store in our application folder within your Google Drive unless you direct it to do so manually. None of your Google Drive data can be accessed without your google password and your direct input into the application while signed in to Google.
Our Application connects you with Twilio telecommunications services. Your password, call recordings, SMS messages remain upon their server and our applications access this data upon your request directly from their servers. We never store any of that information, with the exception of the Recent Calls feature which does store the data found in that table for your convenience. You may clear this data at any time.
4. Archiving and display of Ladybug OS customer testimonials by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Ladybug OS — including archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com — archive or otherwise make available Ladybug OS’s Testimonials. Your last name is not displayed in any comments or testimonials.
5. Circumstances in which Ladybug OS may release information
Ladybug OS may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
6. Google Services
Your files will be virus scanned by Google Drive before they are uploaded or shared. Our SMS application will deposit attachments sent to you into your Google Drive automatically. This is the only scenario in which our application adds anything into your Google Drive automatically. Although Google scans for viruses, you may still become infected by visiting links you receive from third parties who texted your Twilio number. Neither we nor Google can prevent infection from third party links, use caution and common sense before opening any such off site links or attachments.
Certain aspects our application suite act as a frontend for Google services, and allow you to automate and transfer data from your Google services via Twilio telecommunications, email and sharing between people under the umbrella of your membership. All sharing is done by you via applicable google services and controls to guarantee your security and full control of your data. If you do not want our application, or other members of your organization to access your personal google drive, you may create a business Google account and create permissions across your organization through available Google features. Our application does not grant your users any access, you manage all access through your Google account and link in members as you require from their end.
You may at any time disconnect our application and remove our App and or associated folders from your Google Drive from within the Google Drive settings interface.
* never under any circumstances open any courier links if you are not expecting specific parcels. Instead use your tracking numbers and visit the applicable site directly to verify delivery details to avoid phishing exploits.
7. International Users
By visiting our web site and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that due to the international dimension of Ladybug OS we may use the data collected in the course of our relationship for the purposes identified in this policy or in our other communications with you, including the transmission of information outside your resident jurisdiction. In addition, please understand that such data may be stored on servers located in the United States. By providing us with your data, you consent to the transfer of such data.
8. When you close your Ladybug OS account
We store only the original records of your purchase and telephone verification number(s). All of the user data in our applications and the settings are erased from our systems when you close your account with us. The user data generated by you stored within Twilio, and Google services will remain within their websites until you remove it from there manually. There are no other third party services with access to your data whatsoever.
